Purpose
Back in August 2024, we shifted our focus toward strengthening our digital
marketing efforts to promote the business. The area of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and
improving content was to be the primary focus going forward.
Since then, the results have been extremely encouraging. Our visibility on Google
and Yahoo and AI have improved dramatically, and we’re now ranking in the top 10 for
well over 200 different keywords on Google (as of the latest update to this
post). This is just one of the statistics that we check frequently while making
changes and periodically thereafter.
Our goal for our website and the websites we design is simple: to make each website
visible far and wide. — and we're well on our way. Monthly Google
impressions for this website have skyrocketed! This growth continues to steadily
increase over time.
Definition:
An 'impression' is when Google or other
search engine lists your website in the search results. More impressions
translates to more opportunities for someone to click the Google listing to
visit the website.
Taking Action
We are actively refining our strategies beginning to offer SEO services to my web
design clients in the future. Right now, the focus is on improving technical SEO,
keyword research and additions, site optimization, site navigation, massive content
creation, and incorporating AI tools into the mix. Each part plays a role.
Along the way, extensive notes have been taken. These have even been turned them
into a full-length article so the success can be duplicated. However, many details
are being kept under wraps — for now.

Our big SEO article is currently being refined and temporarily unavailable to
the public. This article provides a comprehensive overview of what we are doing
without becoming a 'how-to' document. It is however available to current website
clients upon request.
Updated Stats
As of 5/2/26, this website has:
- The MCC home page now renders in just over 1 second!
- 119 Visible Pages on Google - We continue to add new content!
- 38,800 impressions over last 28 days for our Google
listing. This had dropped about 3 months ago. We discovered that the redesign
caused some of the pages on the site to become de-listed. The new page additions and
changes content updates have increased the number impressions which are steadily
climbing again.
- 169 keywords ranking as the #1 Google local listing
(fluctuates)
- 169 keywords ranking in the top 10 Google local listings
Google made changes which has invalidated most ranking software that are used to get the keyword stats. - Hopefully this is rectified soon!
- 39 Google Five Star Reviews
- 2 Yelp Five Star Reviews
- Website ranks on at least 27 keywords with Google AI
(We are looking for a way to measure AI performance better) - We have noticed that the Google AI results are much different than the regular
Google results considering it's the same company.

- 468 Backlinks - This number was stagnant around 250 for many months but recently started
increasing rapidly.

One of the main challenges with the website have been product review snippets that are included with all of our review pages. We have used several different auditing tools and they seem to be in disagreement about the proper formatting. We have used several different methods to auto generate them and yet they still show as invalid in one audit tool and perfectly valid in another audit tool. Even the AI models seem to have different opinions.
